DUBAI — To give viewers a taste of his creativity, Sasi Kottakkal is conducting his anniversary programme at the Indian Consulate hall in Dubai on 20 April. Classical solo and group performances by Sasi Kottakkal, apart from a 45 minutes dance ballet titled Keraleeyam, will enthral the viewers, with the active participation of 28 of his students.
Keraleeyam will glide the viewers through the 12 months of the Kerala calendar, and give them a glimpse of the various festivals celebrated in Kerala in each of these months.
Curriculum does not need to be rigid
AJMAN — Educational curricula in schools and colleges need to meet the rapid changes in the educational landscape, urged AUST Network's Committee for Curricula and Planning. Speaking at a symposium organised by AUST Committee or Curricula and Planning, Dr Nourahima Yousuf of the Faculty of Education and Basic Sciences, said: "The curriculum does not need to be rigid, or to be taught in the same way every time. Instead, it should be dynamic and adaptable to the time, place and people in order to become more understandable."
