It is expected that seas will be normal by Friday evening.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) predicted that due to rough weather conditions at sea, the wave height will reach up to 14 feet offshore on Thursday.
The north-westerly (shamal) wind continued to kick up dust on open lands across the country and it was blowing at the speed of 25-30 knots.
Most of the time it has been observed that fishermen do not heed to the met warnings and enter the seas which results in fatal consequences, a duty forecaster at the centre said.
It is also expected that strong winds would kick up dust, resulting in reducing the horizontal visibility level, so motorists are advised to drive slow and cautiously, the official said.
The weather in the Capital on Wednesday was partly cloudy with cold winds kicking up dust in open lands.
It is expected that the weather condition offshore will be rough to very rough in general on Thursday and the height of the waves will remain the same.
The centre did not rule out a formation of scattered fog over some northern internal parts of the country on Thursday with an increase in relative humidity level, so those who drive in the early morning are advised to drive carefully.
