Then the Al Ain aerial fiesta started with shows, topped by the UAE Parachute Team (Supa Puma) from Shaikh Khalifah bin Zayed Al Nahyan Air College, followed by kaleidoscope free fall team, and after half an hour of heart-throbbing excitement, the action did not stop its acceleration; it was followed by a stunt bike show, a military band, utterly butterly wind walking team, a two-wheel car stunt show, acrobatic displays, hot air balloon launch and the finale was performance by children and fireworks that brought back the audience's heart beats to normal.
All the aerial shows were performed by world class champions, such as David Thomas Charles and Richard Helmut from the UK, who did aerial stunts and entertained the massive crowd.
Today 'Massirat Al Khair' will be held which will be attended by Shaikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahayn, the Ruler's Representative in the Eastern region.
The art show is being held in honour of the President, His Highness Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The month-long extravaganza includes Al Ain International Flower Show, March 12 to 21, and Al Ain Music Festival, March 5 to 28.
Al Ain 2003 is a definite destination which should not be missed.
