According to the court, the case dates back to October 29, 2002 when the three, Mohammed O., Fairouz S., and Omran A., from Pakistan, were told to set fire to a number of houses by their leader, who is still at large, for money.

The leader arranged bottles of kerosene and other items and the four went to house number 28, owned by M. A., in Hor Al Anz on October 29, 2002 and set fire to it. They did the same to house number 45 and 24 in the same area, owned by A. M. and S. B. respectively.

After setting the houses on fire, they went to a pub and consumed alcohol. They were arrested after their description was given to police and on interrogation they confessed.
