The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) launched 'Bekom Naftakher', (You're our Pride) programme, which aims to motivate its employees to excel at their jobs and join the authority's drive in creating a first class medical system in Dubai.
Humaid Obaid Al Qattami, Chairman of the board and Director-General of DHA, said the programme was created with the aim of encouraging all employees from different specialisations to be innovative, spread the culture of creativity among the authority's employees and give them an opportunity to join the authority in its developmental drive.
Employees who excel in displaying their creativity and in making a notable difference in their work environment and the authority as a whole, will be chosen to represent the authority in the programme's competitions.
The programme's competitions include Career and Administrative Excellence Award, Long Service Award, Scientific Achievement Award, Research Award, International Accreditation Award and Best Suggestions Award.
Following the launch of the programme, the human resources department will hold awareness workshops among its employees in September, present and explain the competition's requirements in October, nominate and evaluate the employees from October/November and then finally announce the results and honour the winners in December.
Al Qattami invited all DHA employees to take advantage of this programme, saying that the criteria of the competition was set by specialists to guarantee transparency in both, the nomination and picking the winner process.
Amna Al Suwaidi, director of human resources at DHA, said there are certain criteria to enter the competitions. She said the human resources department at the authority will distribute a guide that will clarify the criteria for each category.
