"I would really like to apologise for not smuggling my dogs into England." Johnny Depp showed us his funny side at a press conference in on Sunday while promoting his latest film, Alice Through the Looking Glass, when the actor made reference to the crazy dog drama his videotaped apology. In case you have been living under a rock, last month, actor Johnny Depp and wife Amber Heard released an apology video while in Australia, urging people to respect the country's bio-security laws after the couple landed in trouble for illegally bringing their dogs into the country. "I'm going to do this everywhere I go. I would really like to apologise for not smuggling my dogs into England, because it would have been a bad thing to do," he said in footage captured by various news organisations. The actual 42-second court-mandated video by the couple went viral simply because it was so awkward and bizarre. This case has been Australia's highest profile criminal quarantine case, which was also dubbed 'Australia's War on Terrior'. Luckily for Depp's wife, she narrowly avoided conviction for illegally bringing their Yorkshire terriers, Pistol and Boom, into Australia.
