Jungle Book, one of the best-loved animated films of all-time is set to release across UAE cinemas tomorrow.
From the earliest Jungle Book we can remember, the 1967 musical version, this movie has always been a fan favourite.
Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba and Christopher Walken are just few of the A-list Hollywood stars in this new movie.
One thing that stands out in the movie however from its previous adaptations is that the evil and male character of snake Kaa will be played by 'Black Widow' Scarlett Johansson.
The movie has been directed by the 49-year-old actor/director Jon Favreau, who also directed the first two Iron Man movies and most recently starred in the indie-hit "Chef". Oscar-winning Lupita Nyong'o also features in the movie essaying the role of she-wolf Raksha.
The role of the young protagonist Mowgli however has been given to American newcomer Neel Sethi, 12, who plays the man-cub forced to abandon his jungle home for a journey of self-discovery, accompanied by Bagheera the panther and the loveable, free-spirited bear Baloo.
In this 2 minute trailer, we see snippets of all our favorite characters: Bageera, Sher Khan and even an evil looking Orangutan which takes us back to our childhood. We also get to hear barely seconds-long snatches of the famous soundtrack "Bare Necessities" and "Trust in Me".
