The 62-year-old hails from the Jamaican capital of Kingston, where he released his debut album Skylarking in 1972.

After a distinguished and prolific recording career, Andy finally entered mainstream consciousness in the early 1990s when he teamed up with British trip-hop pioneers Massive Attack.

Andy has contributed to all five of the band’s studio albums to date - with notable tracks including Splitting the Atom, One Love and Angel.

The show will take place at Casa Latina bar in the Ibis Al Barsha. Tickets cost Dhs75 apiece and are available from www.timeouttickets.com.
