If you fancy some exquisite jewellery inspired by royalty, look no further than Art Karat’s latest collection ‘MARWAR’, inspired by the princely region of Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India. The collection is a Rajasthani collage of art, heritage and history which will be showcased by Numaish Lifestyle Exhibitions at Taj Dubai, Business Bay on April 2 and 3.

Asha Kamal Modi, Founder & Designer of Art Karat, has created a collection of more than 1500 gorgeous designs from the early 20th century worn by the royal lineage of Maharajas and Maharanis of Jodhpur. Each piece is skilfully handcrafted by master craftsmen who have kept the art alive through generations.

The designs priced between Dh500-Dh5000 are a beautiful mix of various cut gemstones set in the age-old art of kundan and include a beautiful range of necklaces, long earrings, bracelets, bajubandhs, tikas, rings and pins.

Asha Kamal Modi has designed jewellery for Bollywood blockbusters like Devdas, Kamasutra, Zubeida, Monsoon Wedding, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat and more. Many celebrities including Rekha, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai, Tina Ambani, Cherie Blaire and Alicia Keys have flaunted Asha’s designs.
