Germany’s biggest trance duo Cosmic Gate set to play Dubai

With summer beginning to wind down, Dubai’s party season is just starting to heat up.

Fans of trance music have a reason to celebrate as two of Germany’s biggest electronic music exports are set to play Dubai next month.

Cosmic Gate, made up of trance duo Nic Chagall aka Claus Terhoeven and Bossi aka Stefan Bossems, will be playing at Chi nightclub on September 19 (tickets are Dhs125) following a massive year of hits and gigs around the globe.

Having played at some of the biggest clubs such as Ministry Of Sound and Privilege Ibiza, Cosmic Gate continue to produce record-breaking tracks and were even named the ‘highest climbers’ in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 poll a decade after starting out. The DJ pair have remixed for artists such as DJ Tiësto, Ferry Corsten and Vanessa-Mae, and have even remixed the compositions of revered Hollywood composers such as Avatar’s James Horner.

Driven by their hugely received albums and club-busting singles including Not Enough Time, Body of Conflict and Over The Rainbow as well as scene-defining classics Be Your Sound, Fire Wire and Exploration of Space, Dubai’s electronic dance community is in for an epic night.
