Chart-topping drum and bass duo Sigma are stopping by Media One Hotel later this month along with garage oldies Artful Dodger and house DJ Hannah Wants.

Sigma, comprising Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie, went to UK number one in April with Nobody to Love - their remix of Kanye West’s Bound 2 which began as a bootleg recording before entering the mainstream. The track also hit the top spot in countries from New Zealand to Poland.

Elsewhere, the group have remixed for Ellie Goulding and Groove Armada, and worked alongside Paloma Faith and DJ Fresh.

Artful Dodger came to prominence in the late 1990s along with fellow Southampton native Craig David, with whom they recorded the hit singles Re-Rewind and Woman Trouble.

The group had six UK top 20 singles, also including Movin’ Too Fast (with Romina Johnson) and TwentyFourSeven (with All Saints’ Melanie Blatt).

Hannah Wants is an upcoming DJ from the English Midlands, who cut her teeth in Ibiza four years ago and now travels the world with her act, as well as releasing a 24-track mixtape on Soundcloud.com.

All three acts will perform at the Level 41 party venue on Thursday, August 28, open from 9pm to 3am. Early bird tickets cost Dhs80 from www.platinumlist.net, rising to Dhs100 then Dhs120 on the door.
