IMMERSE YOURSELF IN an evening of music and poetry, as Tina Sani performs at the IMAX Meydan this Friday.

The Pakistani songstress, known for her Urdu ghazals, will interpret the works of poets Rumi, Iqbal and Faiz.

Tina began singing in 1979, receiving formal training in Indian classical music from Ustad Nizamuddin Khan Sahib and later on with Ustad Chand Amrohvi.

In 2004, she received the highest civilian award in Pakistan, the President’s Pride of Performance, for her services to music.

Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start, with tickets priced at Dhs350, Dhs500 and Dhs750.
