Scarecrow-making contest marks Guy Fawkes Day

The English holiday celebrates the foiled attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605, perpetrated by Fawkes and his fellow plotters.

To mark the occasion, Al Tamimi Stables is hosting a scarecrow-making competition for kids from 9am, with prizes to be won.

Entry to the venue costs Dhs60 for adults and Dhs35 for children.
