Shaan, KK to perform in Dubai in 2016

Singers will come together for the first time at Salaam Dubai in January.

Two of Bollywood's most sensational singing icons - KK and Shaan - are coming together for the first time to present 'Salaam Dubai 2016'. The 4-hour non-stop musical production will have the duo belt out their unforgettable hits at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on Friday, January 15.
Blessed with a distinctive sound that ranges from energetic power anthems to romantic ballads, Shaan is today one of the most recognisable voices in the Indian music industry. After breaking into the Indi-pop scene in the early 90s, Shaan went on to win the coveted MTV Asia Music Award in 2000.
Shaan has built a portfolio of unforgettable hits, some of the most legendary being Chand Sifarish, Jab Se Tere Naina, Behti Hawa Sa and Suno Na - tracks which have won him an array of awards including IIFA, Filmfare, Zee Cine, Star Screen, etc.
This year, Shaan once again ruled the charts as he delivered two super hit tracks, Aaj Unse Milna Hai and Murli Ki Taanon Se, for the soundtrack of the Sooraj Barjatya/Salman Khan collaboration, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which had the highest Bollywood opening day collections for 2015.
KK broke onto the music scene in the late 90s with the historic album, Pal, the title track of which won him a prestigious Screen Award. After that, he went on to deliver memorable hits like Tadap Tadap, Tu Aashiqui Hai, Khuda Jaane, Alvida, Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai, Zara Si Dil Mein, Yaaron Dosti, and many others. As one of Bollywood's most successful playback and pop singers, KK has sung more than 500 Hindi tracks, as well as over 200 in regional languages. More recently, KK delivered the catchy chartbusters,Tune Maari Entriyaan from Gunday, India Waale from Happy New Year, and is the voice behind today's Number 1 hit, Tu Jo Mila from the Salman Khan blockbuster, Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Shaan and KK have together delivered the title track of Shah Rukh Khan's epic franchise Don.
The programme organised by Oberoi (Middle East) Events is part of Dubai Shopping Festival 2016.
