Sketching summer

To mark the second European Day of Languages on September 27, children across the UAE (aged six to 10) are invited to submit their best drawings for a competition.

The theme of the contest is ‘Your Summer Holiday’, with the deadline for submission on September 15.

The top three prizes are language courses in English, German and French, and the best entries will be presented on the organisers’ websites and exhibited on the European Day of Languages.

There is no entry fee. The art piece should be created on an A3 size paper and physically delivered to the Goethe Institut in Dubai.

The initiative is being co-organised the British Council, Alliance Francaise, Goethe Institut and the Embassy of the Czech Republic.
