Foodies from across the region are set to descend on Yas Island from November 6 to 8, for the inaugural ‘Taste of Abu Dhabi’ festival.
For its debut in the capital, the al fresco food, drink and music festival in Du Arena will showcase 15 restaurants, international celebrity chefs and more than 50 exhibitors.
Flying in from the UK to launch the event will be celebrity chefs Jun Tanaka (pictured, from BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen) and Eric Lanlard (from Channel 4’s Glamour Puds).
During the three-day fest, once you’ve stuffed yourself silly, check out a live music stage, a chefs’ theatre, themed bars, a cookery school, a kids zone and a VIP lounge.
Aub Dhabi is the 12th destination worldwide to host a ‘Taste of’ festival, which first opened in London in 2004 and has since gone on to places such as Sydney, Stockholm and Dubai.
Participating restaurants in Yas Island include Avasa, Turqoiz, Ushna, Villa Toscana and Blue Grill.
The festival will run from 4pm to 11pm on Thursday, midday to 11pm on Friday and midday to 10pm on Saturday.
