On Thursday night, the parents of Indian Air Force IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman were given a standing ovation when they de-boarded an IndiGo Chennai-New Delhi flight.
Fellow passengers discovered their identity and voluntarily waited for them to de-board first, reported News18.
According to a video post of the incident by Rishi Bagree, "Abhinandan family landed in Delhi. As their flight landed in New Delhi, instead of rushing to deboard the plane, the fellow passengers, in a gesture of gratitude, waited for the proud parents to deboard first."
