Students of JSS PS Dubai have once again shown consistency in their academic results this year with unparalleled progress on all fronts in the CBSE Examination 2019. Their impressive scores across all subjects speak volumes of their commitment to learning. All students secured first division in Grade 10 and 12.
Out of 101 students registered for the grade 10 exams, a record 37 per cent students secured more than 90 per cent marks. A total of 81 per cent of the students achieved distinction. Madhumita Balamurugan is the school topper with 97.2 per cent marks.
In grade 12, 16 per cent of students secured more than 90 per cent, with 87 per cent of the students achieving distinction. This year, Shachi Intodia topped the science stream with a percentage of 95.4 per cent.  In commerce, it was Preethika Ramesh who topped with an overall percentage of 95.6 per cent.
"It is very encouraging to see students of grade 10 and 12 surpass all past examination results with their exemplary performance in this year's CBSE Board Examination.
"We have a record number of students achieving 90 per cent and more, especially in grade 10. Grade average in both grade 10 and 12 has increased to 81.4 per cent and 84.4 per cent respectively," said Bindhu Rajiv, Headmistress, JSS Private School.
Rijul of Grade 12 who achieved 99 per cent in Mathematics and Computer Science, will join either Nanyang Technological University or the National University of Singapore (both these universities have very high world rankings) for further studies. Madhumita, grade 10 topper would like to pursue research in the field of medicine.
Many factors have contributed to the success of students. "Our one to one mentoring programme supported the students to prepare for the exam. In the programme, the student was matched with a teacher-mentor. The mentor acted like an adult role model and source of friendship and encouragement, especially around academic goals and personal development.

"It also supported the student to overcome their anxiety and focus on accomplishing academic goals. Of course, there are no short cuts to success, and the hard work of students and efforts of teachers and parents ensured exemplary results for the school," noted the Headmistress.
JSS Private School has always placed joyful learning and holistic development of students at the forefront. The external examinations (CBSE and ASSET) clearly indicate the high competency of JSSPS students which is above the national and international average.
JSS Private School, Dubai, has a well-articulated graduate profile which is the backbone of the curriculum and strategic planning. "To compete and thrive in the 21st-century world we help our students develop life skills and leadership skills, master transformational technologies, and inculcate a global, local and digital identity, notes Akansha J Lall, Senior Supervisor.
"To take education to the next level, we have plans to introduce Artificial Intelligence as one of the electives. We will be introducing Rahaal, an innovative platform introduced by KHDA to customise the learning experiences for individual learners and then by taking their achievements to another level.

"With more targeted intervention, parental involvement and using technology to provide personalised support we will surely reach new highs shortly," she adds.
