Shahdadpuri, who is known for his humanitarian spirit, is also an accomplished entrepreneur, businessman and philanthropist.

“During this time, a decision like this will for sure motivate my employee-partners to punch above their weight and continue delivering the best possible result to the organization. It is tough when people lose jobs or face salary cuts.

There are families to feed and any financial impact is always a burden on the breadwinner. Not once has the salary of our staff been delayed in the last 25 years and this deduction was the first time ever in Nikai’s history,” Shahdadpuri said.

Covid-19 continues to spread as businesses are facing weakened financial markets, disruption to workplace operations, and economic uncertainty. The pandemic has had a severe impact across industries leading to multiple layoffs and salary cuts.

The Nikai Group of companies was no exception to this wave of cost-cutting measures initiated by businesses in their attempt to survive and stay relevant.

To Shahdadpuri, his employees are his partners in progress and members of the Nikai family. He was clear that the organisation will not make any employee redundant during this period.

Irrespective of the crisis and roadblocks, Nikai has bounced and is ending the year with encouraging results thanks to the excellent effort of all stakeholders.

The year 2020 is also the 25th anniversary of Nikai and Shahdadpuri did not want this year to be remembered for the pandemic and its economic aftermath. According to him, this is all about creating a legacy and unforgettable memories.
