The emergence of mass media and communications has opened up a wide array of proposition for companies to publicise their product and reach out to the mass of consumers. The prospective uses of the product are potrayed in an alluring manner camouflaging its associated flaws making it a remunerative business.

Various channels in different nations are naturally subsidised by advertising to pay costs. The model advertising the product is made more attractive exploiting photoshop manipulating the malleable minds of the younger generation bringing out a constant message as to ‘this is how you are supposed to be and if not something is surely wrong with you’.

Another strategy being implemented is by signing in an illustrious celebrity for endorsing a brand creating a prominent impact. Like two sides of the same coin, a few advertisements telecasted in issue of national interest addressing to health hygiene, avert from smoking and tobacco, latest farming techniques and schemes for backing the less privileged does keep the authenticity intact.

Creative without strategy is art, and with strategy is nothing but advertising. All it needs is a touch of realism.
