There have been incidents when taxi drivers forget to print receipts and close the meters despite being asked for a receipt.

They claim they cannot print a receipt once the meter is closed. I urge the RTA to have a look at the current programming of taxi meters and re-programme them to print compulsory receipts when meters are closed.
