At a ceremony attended by government officials and energy sector bigwigs, Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, presented the award to ADMA-OPCO General Manager Ali Rashid Al Jarwan.
ADMA-OPCO won the Runner-up position in the ‘Private Corporation Category’ for its project titled ‘Reducing Energy Consumption in the Headquarters Building of ADMA-OPCO’. In this category, Saudi Aramco won the first place for its project ‘Energy Management Programme’.
Other winners are Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), Al Khaleej Sugar Company (AKS) and Tecom Investments.
“It is a privilege and an honour to receive this prestigious award on behalf of Adma-Opco for the second time. I hope we will continue to achieve more and more successes in our journey to excellence,” Al Jarwan said after receiving the award.
He lauded the efforts of his team members who contributed to winning this award.
