The objective of the AQMS is to give oil companies a management system to describe ambient air quality around and contributions from their onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities in the Emirate.

The implementation of the AQMS has been divided between ADNOC and each subsidiary which will install the required air emissions monitoring systems within its own facilities.

The ADNOC will set up the ambient air quality monitoring stations network and database platforms besides communication network at ADNOC HQ and the Group HQ offices.
