“All hotels in Ajman are very happy because of the recent international sports events in neighbouring Sharjah, which provided good business and during the last two months overbooked position noticed,” Iftikhar Hamdani, Director of Sales and Marketing for Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman, told Khaleej Times at Arabian Travel Market.

Hamdani said that the emirate does not have some big events like Dubai Shopping Festival and Dubai Summer Surprises, but it attracts guests because of lower rates, compared to Dubai and Sharjah. “Last two months were overbooked because of international sports events in Sharjah i.e. Bangladesh cricket event, blind cricket matches, and Asian Cycling championship,” he said.

“We are going for expansion due to increasing demand in hotel rooms in the emirate. We have 336 rooms and will add 160 new rooms in Ajman property and that will be the largest inventory in northern emirates,” he said.

“The property is giving an amazing packages on rooms during the ATM starting from Dh250 per room. Guests can also pay for five nights and get the sixth night free. We at Ramada Ajman extend visitors an authentic lodging experience. The fact that the property is situated in close proximity to other emirates and major shopping malls and other attractions in Ajman will make it a natural choice of the ATM delegates,” Hamdani said.

ATM is the largest travel fair of Middle East. It gives a chance to hotels in the UAE to meet with travel related business partners from different parts of the world.
