The air charter firm — launched last year — said it is on track with its fleet delivery schedule on the occasion of its first anniversary.

“In addition to the two Legacy 600 aircraft that we received at the beginning of our operations last June, we received our first Lineage 1000 from Embrear last March,” said Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Al Jaber.

“AJA will continue according to plan through receiving the Lineage 1000 and Airbus 318 this year,” he said.

AJA will have a modern fleet of advanced, large-cabin aircraft from Airbus and Embraer. Al Jaber said AJA succeeded in the execution of plans despite the tough economic situation.

“We are very optimistic looking ahead for the future,” he said.

Al Jaber added that AJA aims to be a leader in the rapidly growing VIP charter market.

“Over the course of this year, AJA has achieved great milestones, and has become a major player among the long established private airlines in the region,” he said.

AJA also succeeded in the penetration of the GCC VIP and Executive Charter Market, as well as the Intercontinental VIP and Executive Charter Market, and achieved successful repeat business from some of the most high-profile VIP clients in the region.

AJA’s commitment to its service standards remained unshaken and in line with the Company’s business plan and objectives, he said.

“This year, AJA also witnessed great successes and wins through setting up important partnerships, agreements and joint ventures with aviation industry suppliers and service providers,” Al Jaber added. Chief Operating Officer Dr Mark Pierotti said AJA is known for uncompromising standards in safety and quality.

“Our impressive fleet is made up of premium executive jets at the leading edge of modern technology,” Dr Pierotti said. haseeb@khaleejtimes.com
