Abu Dhabi — Caracal International, the Gulf region’s leading manufacturer of pistols and rifles for the civilian, military, law enforcement and sporting markets, has unveiled a range of its latest products at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference.
Caracal, based in the UAE and part of Emirates Defence Industries Company, has selected the prestigious defence conference to showcase an updated range of its F and C model pistols, the CAR816 and CAR814 tactical rifles, its latest tactical sniper rifle, the CS338, as well as the CC10 semi-auto carbine.
Caracal also unveiled its new Caracal 1911 handgun — one of the most mature and in-demand designs currently in the US market — at the show.
Hamad Salim Al Ameri, CEO of Caracal International, said: “Idex 2015 is a chance for us to promote UAE craftsmanship to an international customer base. Meeting our customers and shooting enthusiasts face-to-face gives us an opportunity to understand their requirements, and also get their valuable feedback on our products.”
“Idex 2015 is the perfect opportunity for us to debut products that have never before been introduced to some of our regional customers, partners and suppliers. For example, the new Caracal 1911 attracted a lot of interest in the US based on the pistol’s design and finish so it will be interesting to gauge the demand during the Idex as we interact with a more international audience,” he added.
All the products — which have been designed and manufactured in the UAE — incorporate the most modern technologies to provide the highest reliability, precision and safety and all of the models on show at this year’s Idex are manufactured and tested at the Caracal factory, located at Tawazun Industrial Park in Abu Dhabi.
