Cigna ME supports government Initiatives in UAE

Cigna Corporation, a global health services company, has announced its support for government initiatives in the UAE and Lebanon to combat the Covid-19 pandemic and ensure the safety and well-being of communities.
In the UAE, the company, in cooperation with the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, provided health and nutrition packages to needy families in Abu Dhabi throughout the month of Ramadan. To support Dubai's ongoing efforts to contain the pandemic, Cigna also contributed to Dubai Health Authority's Community Solidarity Fund, established by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, to assist in the procurement of 250 ventilators to help with Covid-19 treatment. In Lebanon, Cigna is collaborating with the Red Cross to support the transfer of patients to hospitals.
Speaking on Cigna's efforts in supporting regional governments during these exceptional times, Jerome Droesch, CEO of Cigna Middle East and Africa, said: "Leaders in the region are true role models for us and their communities in driving humanitarian initiatives from the frontlines to support not just their own people but the world at large during this pandemic. Our contributions by participating in these charitable activities reflects Cigna's dedication and commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of the community."
