A specialist turnkey design-build contractor headquartered in Dubai, City Diamond Contracting LLC. has begun work on the first of 20 exclusive villas on the six island luxury holiday project, following the successful four-month stabilization process completed by Foundation Construction Group (FCG) last month.Josef Kleindienst, Chief Executive of the Kleindienst Group said: “The start of construction on Germany Island is a defining moment, not only for the Kleindienst Group, but for all the government bodies of Dubai who have been facilitating the processes and procedures necessary to get this unique project off the ground. We are delighted to have reached this milestone in a project that has attracted worldwide attention since we launched The Heart of Europe last year.”
Construction of the first luxury villa is scheduled for completion in Q4 2010 and will be used as a show home for the project to enable investors to select the premium fixtures and finishes for their holiday homes. The 20 villa development on Germany Island will be handed over in 2011, with 13 villas already sold.
Deepak Arora, CEO of City Diamond Contracting LLC. commented: “Being the first contractor to begin construction of the first holiday homes on The World is a true honour. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership with the Kleindienst Group as we bring their vision of The Heart of Europe to reality.”
