Credit Suisse Names Anthony Armstrong Head of M&A in MENA

DUBAI - Credit Suisse has announced the appointment of Anthony Armstrong as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, effective immediately. This new position underscores the bank’s continued commitment to its clients in the region.

Based in Dubai, Armstrong reports functionally to David Livingstone, Head of M&A for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and regionally to Jeffrey Culpepper, Vice-Chairman and Head of the Investment Banking Department for the MENA region. Armstrong assumed his position on January 1.

Armstrong was previously a managing director of Credit Suisse in the Americas M&A group, based in Los Angeles.

In this role, he spearheaded the M&A business in the Western Region of the Americas. He has advised companies across a broad range of industries on strategic matters including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and hostile transactions.

He has also advised on a number of cross border US-MENA region transactions.
