Daman Opens Corporate Sales Centre

ABU DHABI - National health insurance company Daman has inaugurated a Corporate Sales Centre in the capital city, to service its fast growing list of corporate clients.

More than 279,000 people have become members of Daman’s insurance scheme through its “enhanced plans” and another 590,000 through the its “basic Abu Dhabi plan,” both through the corporate client scheme. The new Centre — located in Al Bateen — will now cater to clients from both these categories, according to a Press release from Daman.

“Due to the expanding rate of corporate accounts we have taken this strategic step to meet the growth of our corporate sales clients,” said Dr. Michael Bitzer, Daman’s CEO, during the inauguration of the Corporate Sales Centre held recently.

“The Bateen Corporate Sales Centre is staffed with over 70 employees specialised in handling corporate accounts and we expect this step to further enhance our current corporate sales services,” Bitzer added.

The inauguration coincided with the conclusion of Daman’s Customer Focus Week. During the week Daman had arranged a number of internal seminars for its staff to sensitise them on company’s emphasis on customer focus, professional etiquette and customer service orientation.
