The new outlet, part of a Dh100 million retail chain expansion plan, is Danube Building Materials’ second retail showroom to be based within a mall.

“The opening of Danube oultet will create an important dynamic in the home interiors trade in Al Ain by providing a wide expanse of product choices right within the city,” said Al Dhaheri.

Rizwan Sajan, Chairman of Danube Building Materials, said the opening of the mall outlet follows the success of Danube’s initial venture at Dubai Festival City. “This new undertaking demonstrates our steadfast commitment to position ‘Danube Buildmart’ as an outlet where consumers can find what they are looking for – high quality home interior and soft furnishing products at very affordable and reasonable prices. Our main aim is to give consumers the ultimate shopping experience, which incorporates convenience, design assistance and inspiration each time they come to visit,” Sajan said.

Danube is looking at expanding its presence in the GCC region by opening more stores in strategic regional locations. “Our next Danube outlet will be located at the Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai and Dalma Mall, Mussaffah, Abu Dhabi will be open to the public in April this year,” said Sajan.
