Dell Strengthens EMC Alliance
DUBAI - The partnership between global computer manufacturer Dell and EMC, a provider in information infrastructure solutions, will continue through to 2013, with a new EMC storage system for large businesses added to Dell’s product offerings.
With the introduction of the EMC Celerra NX4 storage system, Dell also talked about the need for affordable storage solutions in challenging economic times. Co-incidentally, the deal with EMC originally first emerged from similar economic times in October 2001, said Joe Tucci, president and Chief Executive of EMC.
“By broadening and extending our deep alliance Dell and EMC are able to deliver to customers fully integrated datacentre solutions as the preeminent storage partners to customers worldwide,” said Michael Dell, chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
