The two court systems will collaborate to provide a notary service that can attest official documents, swear oaths, witness signatures and certify true copies. On the notary office plans, Mark Beer, Registrar of DIFC Courts said: “The DIFC Courts are pleased to be once again partnering with the Dubai Courts, this time to establish a notary public office, here in the DIFC. The nature of the international businesses and employees within the DIFC mean that they are often dealing with English language documents.”
