This global awards programme recognises the most innovative projects undertaken by chambers of commerce and industry from around the world.

Dubai Chamber was selected by the international judging panel of the biennial World Chambers Competition among 19 other finalists from various global chambers under the four categories of Best Unconventional Project, Best Small Business Project, Best International Project and Best Networking Project that are aimed at stimulating entrepreneurial creativity and inspiring other chambers. The competition gives chambers a unique opportunity to showcase originality, demonstrate their resolve to strengthen small- and medium-sized enterprises, and exhibit their innovation in delivering member services for which Dubai Chamber was nominated for hosting the Dubai Hamburg Business Forum second session held in December 2008.
