Dubai Chamber Organises Training Programme

DUBAI - As part of its strategy to support and protect the interests of the business community, Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry in association with the Arab Society for Intellectual Property, organised a three-day training programme from April 26 to 28 on Copyright and Contiguous Rights at the Novotel Hotel in Dubai.

The training programme event which coincided with the World Intellectual Property Day on April 26 was attended by lawyers and legal advisers, professionals in the field of media and advertising, copyright and intellectual property managers, officials from the Ministry of Economy and Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.

In the framework of the Chamber’s strategic objective of supporting the development of business, the training programme provided ample information on the subject of intellectual property and copyright to all attendees.

The training sessions also covered global developments and amendments to the copyright laws which would acquaint the participants with their professional rights according to international standards.
