Emaar Hospitality group has joined hands with Saudi-based Azmi Abdelhadi (AAH) Group to operate on a luxury property in Morocco for a long-term period.
The Jnan Amar Retreat, a premium mixed-use development sprawling over 40 hectares, is billed to be an exclusive polo spa-retreat that will strengthen high-quality tourism in the region. The project is expected to complete in 2011.
The project is developed by SIAMA, the subsidiary of AAH Group while Emaar’s 5-star hotel and resort, Address, will play an advisory role during the design and construction stage.
The hotel will undertake management charge with opening of Jnan Amar Retreat in 2011.
Signing the contract, Dardenne, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Hospitality Group, said: “The partnership with Jnan Amar marks the first management contract for The Address Hotels and Resorts, a 5-star premium hotel brand. This is a reiteration of our founding objectives to be a global hospitality provider offering clear differentials as is demonstrated by our flagship property The Address and Downtown Burj Dubai.”
