Airline winners were elected by a survey determined by freight forwarders around the globe, who rated airlines on customer service, performance, value and
information technology.

Air Cargo World, the global news authority on air logistics and freight transport, unveiled the findings of its 6th annual Air Cargo Excellence (ACE) Survey; measuring carriers and airports on specific criteria and ranked them to identify industry performance levels. Other carrier winners included: Southwest Airlines, FedEx Express, Virgin Atlantic and Nippon Cargo Airlines.

Ram Menen, Emirates’ Divisional Senior Vice President Cargo, said he was simply “delighted and very honoured that Emirates was considered for such an exquisite award. The results of the ACE Survey are important to cargo airlines because it is our customers who rate our performance. We strive for excellence in all areas of our business and are thrilled that our customers rate us so highly.”

“The Air Cargo Excellence Awards ceremony gave us a great opportunity to honour the airlines and airports that strive to meet excellence and to exceed their past performances. The ACE Survey has become an important benchmark of airline and airport performance,” said Steve Prince, publisher of Air Cargo World. In 2010 Emirates SkyCargo has also been awarded “International Cargo Airline of the Year” at Air Cargo India in Mumbai and the “Gold” award in ATW AdAward’s Cargo Services category in Singapore.
