Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, has appointed Dr Nadia Bastaki to the new position of vice president of medical services.
Dr Bastaki, a UAE national, has 10 years of experience as a medical practitioner and holds several post-graduate qualifications, including a Master’s degree in occupational medicine from Manchester University, and a diploma in aviation medicine from King’s College in London. Since joining Etihad Airways in 2007, she has helped to position the airline as a global leader in the field of aviation medicine, while also focusing on clinical care at the Etihad Airways Medical Centre in Abu Dhabi.
