Called the Unlimited STD, the plan offers “significant reduction” in voice calls for businesses, estisalat said in a statement.

National calls which were earlier being charged will now be totally free allowing businesses to talk at ease without worrying about their expenses, said Abdulla Hashim, Senior Vice-President for Business Solutions of etisalat.

“Subscribers will enjoy off peak rates throughout the day on 24x7 basis and additional 10 per cent discount on their International spend across all countries. This will translate into a 45 per cent discount for all international calls.”

The Unlimited STD plan is offered to customers using ISDN PRI (Primary Rate Interface) services as well as regular business landlines. The ISDN PRI service from etisalat is used to make multiple inbound and outbound voice calls.

The plan will give unlimited talk time 24x7 within UAE for only Dh39/month/channel for 10 Channels, Dh34/month/channel for 20 Channels and Dh29/month/channel for 30 Channels.

For business landlines customers, the plan offers unlimited talk time 24x7 for only Dh19/month/line from fixed to fixed line within UAE. National calls will now be completely free.

“Our Unlimited STD plan offers significant savings for businesses thereby reducing the overall cost of business communication by u to 45 per cent for International calls in today’s challenging business environment,” said Abdulla Hashim. This new pricing plan is part of Etisalat’s ongoing initiatives to offer more competitive pricing plans for the benefit of businesses in UAE.

The show witnessed the launch of the Middle East’s fastest broadband internet for residential customers in the UAE through etisalat’s new 30MBps package. Another product introduced was etisalat’s first self-branded mobile device — the 211 FM.
