Galadari Automobiles Expects 40pc Growth

DUBAI - Galadari Automobiles expects 40 per cent growth in sales this year as compared to 2007 and will try to maintain it next year, said its General Manager G.A. Kazmi.

“Our business has been growing steadily for the last seven years and our challenge is now not to let this rate diminish in 2009,” Kazmi told Khaleej Times at a the launch ceremony of All-New Mazda6 Ultra in the UAE on Monday.

Galadari Automobiles launched the bigger, bolder and more powerful All-New Mazda6 Ultra 3.7 Litre V6. The all-new Mazda6 Ultra 3.7 Litre V6 is Mazda’s foray into offering a whole new sense of refinement — an ‘exclusive experience’ — of a car that leads the field in this class.

Kazmi said, “We will continue our efforts in 2009 as today we opened our new showroom on Shaikh Zayed Road and Galadari is also making huge investment in another facility on the same road.”

“The next year will be demanding year and certainly there will be challenges as industry experts predict 35 to 40 per cent slowdown in the growth of auto sector.”

According to Kazmi, the industry  will come back after first quarter of 2009. UAE industry may be able to sustain the figures of 2009 next year, he said.

In addition to Mazda, Galadari Automobiles also has some other small franchises.

The new car has been especially  designed to give drivers more power,  more stability, more space, more  luxury, relaxed long-distance cruising and perfect performance in every  way.

The Mazda6 has always boasted of a strong legacy of being one of the world’s most popular sedans.

Earlier in his address Kazmi  said, “Today will be marked as an  important day in Mazda’s history of over 35 years in the UAE. With the launch of the All-New Mazda6 Ultra, the ‘Zoom-Zoom’ philosophy has been strengthened even more. The All-New Mazda6 Ultra is truly the flagship marquee from Mazda.”

Kazmi further stressed, “The All-New Mazda6 Ultra constitutes ‘more’ in a car — ‘more’ power with a breathtaking 3.7 Litre V6 engine; ‘more’ luxury and style with 9 sophisticated colours and 3 rich interior finishes and ‘more’ space with enhanced legroom and cargo carrying capacity in its class!”

Harada of Mazda said, “The All-New Mazda6 Ultra is aimed at achieving best-in-class. It is a more premium vehicle than the Mazda6. It is quite simply, the best Mazda sedan ever.”
