ICAI Dubai best chapter for 7th year

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Dubai) Chapter NPIO was awarded with 'Best Overseas Chapter Award' for 2019, for its excellent contribution towards professional development, imparting knowledge and enhancing awareness on the modern digital world and their services for members, students and society.
It is a unique achievement as the Dubai Chapter has won the award for the seventh consecutive time since its inception.
ICAI Dubai Chapter chairman Anish Mehta and immediate past chairman Mahmood Bangara, along with vice-chairman Sundar Nurani and secretary Anurag Chaturvedi received the Award from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Indian Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur at the 70th annual function of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India held in New Delhi.
The award was received in the presence of ICAI president Prafulla Chhajed, and vice-president Atul Kumar Gupta and NIRC chairman Harish Kumar Chaudhary Jain, along with several other dignitaries.
ICAI Dubai Chapter has been conducting a variety of events for enhancing the knowledge on fiscal and regulatory landscape, imparting awareness on rapidly transforming technology and its impact on workspace and economy, enlightening on IFRS-the global accounting standard, multi-dimensional networking with business communities and social events for families. The seminars have been fostering Indo-UAE bonding with the participation of ministers from both countries.
