Top officials of both organisations also discussed ways to develop strategies that are on par with economic growth requirements of Sharjah in particular, and the UAE in general, it added.

“Numerous ideas were put on the table during our meeting with Shurooq, and we are pleased with the authority’s interest in developing the industrial sector in Sharjah,” said EIC General Manager Engineer Mohammed Al Hazza.

“Our meeting with EIC management was fruitful, and we look forward to further meetings in the future,” said Shurooq Chief Executive Officer Marwan Al Sarkal.

EIC is home to numerous light and medium industries, including collective industries, transformational industries, packing, distribution and logistics support, commercial activities for furniture traders and suppliers, equipment, spare parts, home appliances and construction materials.
