Malaysia’s AWC Facility Unit Wins Dh171m UAE Deal

DUBAI — A unit of Malaysian firm AWC Facility Solutions has won a contract worth Dh171 million ($46.5 million) for designing, supplying and installing a waste collection system, the company said on Friday.

According to Reuters, the contract has been awarded by Tamouh to Multi Link Environmental Services of UAE, an associate company of AWC, the firm said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia.

AWC Facility Solutions Berhad is an established services organisation providing integrated facilities management (IFM) and electrical and mechanical engineering (M&E) services.

The company was incorporated on June 13, 2001 and subsequently listed on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on September 9, 2003.

The AWC group comprises 9 subsidiaries, each leaders in their respective fields. By initiating a solid chain of integration, AWC is able to tap into vast areas of expertise and offer numerous benefits to clients and investors alike.
