Man Behind Atlantis Succumbs to Heart Attack

DUBAI — Kerzner Development, a unit of Kerzner International Holdings Inc, which developed the Atlantis hotel complex in Dubai, confirmed on Wednesday that its president Jim Boocher has died of a heart attack on Tuesday morning in El Jadida, Morocco, where he was overseeing the finishing touches of the company’s new development at Mazagan.

Boocher joined Kerzner International in 1996 when the company started construction on the Royal Towers at Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
