Mawarid Plans Forums
to Support SMEs

DUBAI - Mawarid Finance, UAE-based private joint stock company, plans a series of forums to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) 
in the country.

One of the forums is scheduled on January 26, 2010 in Al Ain. The campaign called: “Falak Tayyeb” will be organised by Mawarid Finance in association with Khalifa Fund to support and develop SMEs. The forum targets the owners of SMEs in Al Ain city and the beginners who plan to run small investments.

“There are two more forums which are scheduled to take place in Sharjah and Fujairah emirates, after which an assessment shall be made for the results and benefits for the target group of the SME owners,” Mohamed Musabbeh Al Neaimi, chief executive officer of Mawarid Finance Group, said.

“The assessment shall focus on the concerned entities which have been involved in the discussions with the owners who presented the obstacles and challenges which face their business; and to what extent the government officials interact with them.”

He said that the company supports SMEs in order to help them grow gradually and they shall definitely contribute in enhancing the national economy one day.

He praised the role of organizations, which boost this vital sector such as Khalifa Fund to Support and Develop Small & Medium Enterprises, Mohamed Bin Rashid Foundation, Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla to Support the Youth Projects and Sharjah Foundation to support the Pioneer Enterprises (Ruad)”.
