Nesto Hypermarket has set new benchmarks in service quality and is well-equipped with the latest state-of-the-art retail facilities to service several residential catchments in Sharjah and Dubai outskirts, Ajman and other nearby areas. “This is part of our ambitious expansion plans for the emirate of Sharjah and is also part of our plan to be closer to various residential developments in the emirate,” said Basheer.

“We are extremely happy that Shaikh Salem bin Abdul Rahman S. Qassimi made it possible to inaugurate the facility. This is a strong testimony to the support that business establishments like ours are privileged to get. Our new outlet is a symbol of our confidence in the bright future of Sharjah and is our commitment towards the long-term vision of the leaders. It is their support to the business houses that has propelled our expansion plans in Sharjah. We thank the leadership and authorities for their support and cooperation.”

Nesto was established in the year 2004 with a vision of being a “string of pearls” of department stores, supermarkets and hypermarkets. “Our vision is to create a retail chain which is as friendly and accessible as your next-door shop and at the same time provide the best quality products at the most competitive prices. Over the past few years, the Nesto Group has grown to become the trusted and preferred choice for shoppers across the GCC. This multi-storied hypermarket will have a 150,000 SKU [stock keeping unit] assortment across diverse categories including fresh foods, grocery and household items, health and beauty products, fashion accessories as well as consumer electronics. We believe that Nesto offers the complete shopping experience and we are confident that Nesto Hypermarket will continue the tradition of offering the best in quality, range, service and price,” he added.

“We believe in providing our customers a wide range of products at the best possible price in a great shopping ambience.”

“We have a strong vision for the future. We want to be among the top players in the region and we aim to have a 100-store presence in the next five years. These stores will be a mix of hypermarkets and supermarkets. As per our three year strategic business plan, we plan to open 20 more stores in the next three years and that will enhance our presence to 50 stores in the region by year 2015. We have allocated an outlay of around Dh2 billion for Nesto in the next three years.”
