PC gamers are more becoming more advanced, but nothing would still beat the feel of the classic design of mice.
As such, companies are working to incorporate the latest technologies into these peripherals while ensuring gamers have that familiar feel in their hands.
"We've devoted our engineering expertise to bringing that original shape and feel back to gamers," said Brian Luu, product manager of mice at SteelSeries.
"Our team has done a fantastic job staying true to the Sensei design, while upgrading its performance for the demands of modern esports."
Luu was speaking on the launch of its latest Sensei Ten gaming mouse, which now has the new TrueMove Pro sensor is now available in the UAE through regional distributor TechXhub.
TrueMove Pro has the latest in optical-sensor technology. Custom-designed by SteelSeries and PixArt, it has true one-to-one tracking, 18,000 counts per inch - for one inch of Sensei Ten movement, the cursor moves 18,000 pixels - and 450 inches-per-second tracking speed. The new sensor's advanced tracking also stabilises tilted mouse manoeuvres, eliminating false tracking during angled drops, tilt slams and quick flicks.
TechXHub expects a "warm reception" for the peripheral, "in a region replete with gamers and e-sports fans", added Sachin Kapoor, the company's vice-president for the MEA, India and emerging markets.
