The facility will host more than 1,400 Research and Development (R&D) employees upon its completion, as part of an aggressive expansion plan to target the growing demand for ‘Software-as-a-Service’ (SaaS) based solutions in the Middle East. “We have identified the potential of hosted solutions as an efficient investment for SMBs, in the Middle East market, and this has motivated us to invest even further in the advancement of this model,” Shukri Dabaghi, General Manager, SAS, Middle East said.
He noted that more and more companies are automatically considering the ‘SaaS’ model as an alternative. It’s cost-effective compared to the capital expenditure for infrastructure and maintenance for the usage of the software.
‘SaaS’ model proves to be very compelling to SMBs, as companies within the sector continue to seek solutions that promote cost savings, connectivity, and functionality.
