The four-day course, led by Dr Abdul Karim Darwish, took place in the conference room at SEDD headquarters course, which continued for 4 days in the conference room at the Department’s HQ.
The course focused on such fundamentals as the creation of vision, message and value neutralisation and the translation of vision and message into smart, achievable targets. It also looked at environment analysis and the creation of strategic ability, using examples from various local and international strategic plans.
At the conclusion of the programme, attendees received recognition from Ali bin Salim Al Mahmoud, who handed out certificates of appreciation to each of them for their participation and commended their dedication and readiness to engage in the training programme.
Commenting on the role of the programme and the importance of such initiatives, Al Mahmoud said, “Training and strategic planning are vital to any organisation and the individuals in it who hope to scientifically build their professional careers. Without sound strategic planning, no real development or growth can be achieved.”
