Dr Shaikh Sultan praised Shurooq’s goals to support and enhance the economic system of Sharjah, and listened to ideas and suggestions made by both the Chairperson and CEO, who expressed their appreciation of Dr Shaikh Sultan’s continued support and encouragement, confirming that his encouragement adds a sense of responsibility and drives everyone in the investment sector to work harder in order to contribute to Sharjah’s development growth plans.
“We sensed a deep appreciation by the Ruler of Sharjah, of the intense efforts made by citizens of the UAE to push the development wheel forward. His Highness also expressed his support of new ideas aimed at enhancing the investment sector in the emirate in light of its unique identity and the demands of modern times,” said Shaikha Bodour.
“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to His Highness for his unlimited support of all initiatives that contribute to the development of Sharjah, and we promise to translate this support into actual work. His Highness deeply enriched the meeting with sharp insights that we will try to adopt in all Shurooq projects,” she added.
Throughout the meeting, Shurooq management listened to Dr Shaikh Sultan’s recommendations regarding support of the investment climate in Sharjah and how to make the emirate one of the safe havens for the investment process through facilitated procedures. Dr Shaikh Sultan also took the opportunity to praise Shurooq for its efforts in making Sharjah a modern and cultural forerunner in the UAE.
Shurooq’s plan for implementing its strategy within the emirate is two-fold. The first part revolves around attracting investors and assisting them in choosing areas in the emirate which can be developed into tourist sectors; adopting major quality projects which is consistent with the objectives of development in the emirate.
